TWO MEN AND A TRUCK prepares for busiest move weekend!

Moving People Forward will always be the number one priority for us at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, but focusing on how to move the company forward is an important process that keeps us growing, and helps us move closer to our goals.

“As we start a new year, we have grown the reach and success of TWO MEN AND A jeff-wesleyTRUCK®,” said CEO Jeff Wesley. “With growth more than 16 percent on average, per year, over the last seven years, we feel well positioned for the future, and appreciate the customer support for our brand and the opportunities ahead.”

With a team exceeding 10,000 this summer that is continuously growing, new and innovative ideas being implemented daily, and a brand reputation that spreads internationally, it’s important to reflect on the success of the past, and focus on future goals for the company. These goals help keep everything on the right path, and allow us to enjoy even greater levels of success moving forward.

“We continue to invest in talent in areas, customer service and innovation to position ourselves with additional services people are looking to us for,” Wesley said. “We are so excited about full-scale entry into interstate moves with Value Flex, and the opportunities it provides our new customers to experience the high value services of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.”

Developing our franchise system

With more than 380 locations nationally and internationally, our company reach extends a great length, and 2017 is an opportunity to add more franchises and expand across the globe.

For our franchise development team, their 2017 expansion goals include:

-Signing 25 new franchises and five mini markets

-Expanding into the state of Montana, which increases our reach to 42 U.S. states as well as additional expansion into Wyoming, West Virginia, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

“We continue to work and expand our footprint with qualified partners that are focused on customer service, while bringing on additional areas in order to serve even more customers,” said Compliance Director Pamela Batten. “With the additional services of Value Flex and Portable Storage, more coverage of the U.S. as a brand will allow us to go to the next level.”

Value Flex

Although TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has always offered an expedited, long-distance moving service, the missing piece and new addition for 2017 will be our value and flexibility service – officially called Value Flex – which offers a reduced price on long-distance moves for customers with a little more flexibility on their move dates.

Value Flex will utilize the service of dedicated long-haul carriers to transport containers to another TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® location near the customer’s final destination. From there, that local team will make the delivery to the new location.

“As the Value Flex service continues to grow across the country, it will truly change the perception of the brand when it comes to long-distance moving,” said Moving Services Director Lindsey Schaibly. “We will still offer our expedited services for customers who want that service, but now we will also have the ability to help customers who cannot select the expedited service and are flexible in their move dates.”

Using a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® location on both ends of the move makes for an excellent customer experience, and the team behind Value Flex is very pleased with the service so far.

“We look forward to automating the estimating and scheduling process in 2017 to continue improving the program,” said Schaibly.

Customer Relationship Center

The development and growth of the Customer Relationship Center at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has been a valuable service to the brand, and continued additions and goals will improve the overall customer experience in 2017.

The Customer Relationship Center is an extension of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s sales team, allowing us to ensure all customers are responded to quickly, and after normal business hours.

For the Customer Relationship Center, a few main points of focus in 2017 include:

-Implementing various channels of communication to reach customers in the manner they would like, and at the time they would like, by incorporating virtual chat and online estimating

-Improving and standardizing sales processes to allow customers to receive the same level of sales support, regardless of where they call from

“We are very excited about the new sales initiatives coming in 2017 from both CRC and the system,” said Director of Sales Ashley Skaggs. “Over the next year, we will partner on various areas to help the customers, and to make sure they choose TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. Whether it is from sales support, sales training, CRC, or new technology, sales will be a large focus for 2017.”
