In order to be the leaders of the moving industry, we at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® constantly challenge ourselves to make impactful changes to our brand in order to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction. We have recently made another positive step in this direction, and have implemented translation of website content and marketing collateral into Spanish.
This allows us to extend our brand reach even further than before, and makes us more inclusive and accessible to potential customers.
With 93 months of consecutive growth as a system and a business model that continues to expand, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is moving more people than ever. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are an estimated 54 million Hispanic people in the United States, with nearly 20 percent of the country currently speaking Spanish.
This Spanish translation on the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® websites will help us continue our record growth numbers, and also cast a wider net when trying to connect with future customers and potential new hires.
“By serving content to native Spanish speakers, we are able to better connect with potential customers and ensure they have a better experience with our brand while visiting the website,” said Eric Jaward, marketing implementation manager for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s headquarters. “Doing this increases the likelihood they have the ability to find out more about who we are and what we have to offer.”
Translation to Spanish will have a direct impact to our more than 350 locations across the United States, particularly with those located in areas where there is a heavy population of Spanish speaking residents. We’re able to communicate in a better way which allows us to establish a connection and give them a sense of ease that we’ve got their moves covered.
“We have 16 franchises across five states, and among these franchises, we are located in areas with a large Spanish speaking population,” said Jessica Quandt, the Marketing Manager for Black Wolf Group – a group that owns multiple TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise locations across the U.S. “Making this transition to a Spanish translated website will allow us to capture a market that we may have been missing out on.”
Finding more ways to communicate with Spanish speaking customers allows us to relay what the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand is all about, and adds a new layer to our already outstanding customer service experience. The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® national Customer Response Center will also start working to employ Spanish-speaking customer service representatives to help assist with explaining services and booking moves to our Spanish-speaking potential customers.
“We’re in Los Angeles County, which has a very high population of Spanish speakers, but only one person in our office speaks Spanish,” said Stefanie Shook, Marketing Manager for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Pasadena, Calif., location. “So if she’s busy or on the phone, we have a very hard time giving those Spanish-only speakers the customer experience they deserve. I think having our website translated will enhance the customer experience by creating a more diverse communication channel. Communication is so important in this industry to ensure the customer has a well-rounded understanding of the services that we provide.”
The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand website was officially translated to Spanish late August, with plans of implementing Spanish translation to our careers site and additional marketing materials in the future.
