The holiday festivities are over, the New Year has started, and it’s back to business for the “Movers Who Care®”. After a strong 2017 that showed continuous record growth and even more ways of serving our customers, it’s all eyes forward as we transition to 2018.
Over the past year, the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand saw 10 percent system wide growth, while maintaining our customer referral rating of nearly 96 percent. The company surpassed 500 million in revenue for the year, and as we head into 2018, we have no plans of slowing down as we look to find the best ways possible to continue providing top-notch moving and packing services.
“The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand is in a very strong position,” said CEO Jon Nobis. “We have just completed our eighth consecutive year of strong growth on top of record customer satisfaction scores, which drives future growth. We have so much to be thankful for.”
The system is thankful indeed, and as we continue to show our innovative side with the ways we move people forward, and it’s important to reflect on just how important 2017 was for our brand.
“I’m most proud that we are achieving our core purpose of moving people forward,” said Nobis. “First, our customer referral rate shows we were successfully moving people forward. We are not perfect, but we will continuously strive for that perfection which supports our mission statement. Second, we have helped move our franchises forward by launching key new initiatives that will increase their value in the brand. Third, we have moved TWO MEN AND A TRUCK employees forward with a significant growth in our internal social network, where leaders can share tips across the country and celebrate success with their peers.”
But just as the mantra “Moving People Forward®” insinuates, the time for celebrating last year is over, and it’s full-steam ahead for 2018 as we look to continue growing. As a system, four major goals have been highlighted for us to focus on in the New Year:
–The main objective for us is to continue our customer referral rating success, and to earn a 96.5 system-wide referral rating. This starts by continuing to put the customer first, and by continuing to set the standard for customer service in the moving industry.
–As a system, we want to continue increasing our move count and putting ourselves out there for more customers in any way possible. From new, innovative service options to partnering with national moving accounts – we want TWO MEN AND A TRUCK to be our customers’ go-to choice for all things moving.
“The new year gives us a chance to step back and look at what’s ahead,” said TWO MEN AND A TRUCK President Randy Shacka. “We have a lot of key initiatives in the works, including improvements through technology to not only better the customer experience, but also our employee experience. Additionally, we will perform over 1,000 national account moves in 2018, which is outside of our traditional moving of house hold items, but is quickly become part of our expanded services.”
