2017 scholarship winner embracing new role as TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisee

Around this time a year ago, Robbie Barnes was working as an operations manager for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Greenville, S.C., franchise location, a position he had held since 2013.

Fast forward to March 2018, and the phones went live and the first official move booked for the new Beaufort, S.C., location, which is now under the leadership of Barnes as he transitioned to a new franchisee role. Barnes was the winner of the 2017 Mary Ellen’s Moving People Forward® Scholarship program, an extensive, year-long training program where winners are awarded $50,000 toward the opening of their own franchise location. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® continues to forge ahead as a moving company, and early in 2018, we entered a new U.S. state – Wyoming.

Franchisees Rob Graham and Justin Woods officially opened their Cheyenne location mid-February, and completed their first move on February 22. Wyoming is the 43rd state the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand currently operates in, and allows us to extend our moving services to even more people across the U.S. Continue reading
