Nick Trentanelli takes on franchising role after nearly two decades as TWO MEN AND A TRUCK general manager

Time and time again, we promote career advancement stories of our well-deserving and motivated team members throughout our system. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has a history of promoting from within, and this helps us keep our family-oriented culture fresh and strong as we continue to grow.

For Nick Trentanelli, his story is yet another example of how hard work and commitment to the brand pays off in a big way.

In 1999, Trentanelli joined TWO MEN AND A TRUCK as a mover in Ohio. He advanced through the ranks and eventually became a general manager at the Cleveland location, a job he held for a number of years. But last week, after a long journey, Trentanelli took the next step at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK – becoming a franchisee.

Trentanelli joins Lynn Meilander as a co-franchisee of the Cleveland location, and after nearly 20 years of experience on the operations side, is ready to take this new challenge head on.

Nick Trenanell“Becoming an owner means a lot to me,” Trentanelli said. “I have spent almost two decades focused primarily on the operations side of the business, so it is very exciting that I am now in the position to make improvements throughout the franchise that will increase efficiency and impact day-to-day performance.”

Trentanelli knows this new position is a testament to the time he has put in over the years with the organization, and he’s proud of what he’s accomplished.

While he has a wealth of experience in handling all things TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, he knows there are new challenges he’ll face as he transitions to ownership.

“I think just knowing the system and learning all aspects of the business over the years helped prepare me for this,” Trentanelli said. “I think some of the biggest challenges will just be letting go of some of the day-to-day responsibilities and focusing on overall growth.”

As he mentioned, growth will become the biggest goal as he becomes part of the ownership team. He has a plan for how he wants to see the location grow, and knows it’s important to keep those goals in mind as the team pushes forward.

“Proper training, wellness workshops, building up skill sets, and setting up our staff for success will be some of the major keys to this growth we are stressing,” Trentanelli said. “I’m a firm believer that investing in your staff and continued use of the latest technology is the best way to grow a business.”

Trentanelli credits the overall atmosphere of the brand as one of the main reasons he decided to pursue this jump into franchising, and it’s also one of the main reasons he would recommend a franchising opportunity to someone interested.

“It’s a proven company with a great support system,” Trentanelli said. “TWO MEN AND A TRUCK does everything in their power to set you up for success.”
