Meet the 2019 Mary Ellen’s Moving People Forward® Scholarship candidates!

-Written by Erik Sargent

The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK family atmosphere  is a big driving force that keeps our employees motivated and moving forward with their careers.

Part of the encouragement in moving careers forward is the  Mary Ellen’s Moving People Forward Scholarship Program, which is a year-long program consisting of training courses, assignments, and presentation of a business plan at the end of the program. In the end, one person is chosen as the official winner, and is given $50,000 toward starting their own TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving franchise in partnership with their current franchisee!

This keeps our tradition of promoting from within going strong and gives existing members in the company the motivation to continue working hard toward their goals of becoming a business owner one day.

With the announcement of 2018’s winner, Liz Friedmann, it’s time to meet the candidates for 2019:

Sean Abram – Operations Manager – Pittsburgh South, PA

Jarrod Brooks – General Manager – Lincoln, NE

Blake Casey – Franchise Manager – Grand Rapids South, MI

Juan Gallegos – Regional Manager – Quad Cities, IA

It’s an exciting time for all four candidates as they work toward becoming a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisee!

The Mary Ellen’s Moving People Forward Scholarship program has developed some of our company’s top leaders, and even for those who haven’t won the scholarship,  they’ve used the experience gained to go on and become a franchisee.
