When Founder Mary Ellen Sheets began building the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand, a positive culture focused around giving back to the community, living by a set of core values, and a mindset of promoting our own people, which helped establish TWO MEN AND A TRUCK not only as a leader in the moving industry, but an organization in which people wanted to be involved..

Franchisees from all backgrounds have come to find a home here, opening their own moving operations and finding success along the years.

A commitment to giving back

As mentioned above, Founder Mary Ellen Sheets worked hard on creating the culture you see today at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, and a big way she started this was with giving back to the community. She donated her first $1,000 of profit to 10 local charities in Lansing, setting a strong standard for keeping a focus on giving back.

From our partnership with Convoy of Hope to the charity programs we have started on our own like Movers for Moms®, Movers for Military®, Movers for Mutts®, Movers for Meals®, and Truckload of Warmth – we use our resources year-round to make our communities a better place.

Tt’s also a good reminder to our customers and to our communities that we’re a company they can trust.

It’s important to recognize the hard work that our franchisees, franchise staff, and franchise team members do each and every day – and we make sure we take time to honor that.

With events like our Annual Meeting conference and our Frontline Annual Meeting, successful franchisees and franchise team members get their chance to earn awards on the big stage and show the effort they’ve put in as they continue to help our brand grow.
