The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK family atmosphere  is a big driving force that keeps our employees motivated and moving forward with their careers.

Part of the encouragement in moving careers forward is the  Mary Ellen’s Moving People Forward Scholarship Program, which is a year-long program consisting of training courses, assignments, and presentation of a business plan at the end of the program. In the end, one person is chosen as the official winner, and is given $50,000 toward starting their own TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving franchise in partnership with their current franchisee!

This keeps our tradition of promoting from within going strong and gives existing members in the company the motivation to continue working hard toward their goals of becoming a business owner one day. Continue reading

Throughout the history of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, our company has always tried to welcome in and provide opportunities for the brave veterans of this country.

Many similarities with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK working environment – from the structure to the comradery with the moving teams – translate well for veterans when they’re complete with their service, and we have veteran members in roles ranging across our entire company.

Nobody understands the similarities between military life and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK quite like Ed Razo, who after 17 years in the Marines, is now general manager for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK corporate store in Pasadena, California. Continue reading
