Like any other day of work for Liz Friedmann, it was business as usual as she arrived to the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® St. Louis, Mo., office on Thursday, September 27.

Friedmann had spent the last year participating in the Mary Ellen’s Moving People Forward Scholarship program, a year-long program designed to train managers from within the system all aspects of the business to transition them into the franchisee role. When Bryan Jones first hired into the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® family as mover, it didn’t take very long for him to make an impression on those he worked for.

As a college student at Louisiana State University, Jones found himself looking to make some extra cash in between semesters during the summer. He had spent some time working construction, but wanted a different challenge, and stumbled across the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Baton Rouge location. The busy moving season is coming to a close as we enter the fall months at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, but it was business as usual this week in Lansing, Mich., as franchisees and managers from the network met for the Fall Franchise Conference and Expo.

Held at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing, franchisees and their team members from all over  North America met with Home Office support teams to learn the latest company news and best practices, hear directly from the executive team on the direction of the brand, and meet with vendors in a fun and interactive setting.
