Before becoming a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK family, Mike Lally worked for multiple companies after college, mainly in the chemical and coating industries.

Lally had always held the belief that success comes from doing something you love or something that satisfies a sense of purpose, and although he was finding that in these, there was always the desire for more. After a nearly a decade of selling construction equipment, Dan Shunk resigned from his position and found himself looking for a new career path.

Shunk had received his degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Illinois, then moved to St. Louis, Mo., with his wife, Rene, where he earned his MBA from Washington University.
