As a college student at Louisiana State University, Jones found himself looking to make some extra cash in between semesters during the summer. He had spent some time working construction, but wanted a different challenge, and stumbled across the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Baton Rouge location. The busy moving season is coming to a close as we enter the fall months at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, but it was business as usual this week in Lansing, Mich., as franchisees and managers from the network met for the Fall Franchise Conference and Expo.

Held at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing, franchisees and their team members from all over  North America met with Home Office support teams to learn the latest company news and best practices, hear directly from the executive team on the direction of the brand, and meet with vendors in a fun and interactive setting. Before becoming a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK family, Mike Lally worked for multiple companies after college, mainly in the chemical and coating industries.

Lally had always held the belief that success comes from doing something you love or something that satisfies a sense of purpose, and although he was finding that in these, there was always the desire for more. When Mark Golden started with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® more than 20 years ago, he started small by joining the Huntsville, Ala., location as a mover.

Over the next nine and a half years, Golden would slowly advance into just about every role you can experience working at the frontline level of a franchise, advancing from a mover to a customer service representative, then to a move manager, an operations manager, and finally a general manager.
