While there are certainly smaller-sized cities and regions throughout the country, one thing’s for sure … there is still a need for professional moving services!
This was the driving idea behind TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s mini-market franchise model, which was designed to bring our world-class, professional moving services to areas with smaller populations. It gives potential franchises the opportunity to open their own TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise, but at an investment cost that is lower than our traditional franchise model.
“Mini-markets run very similar to our tradition markets, but on a smaller scale. We now have the technology and support mechanisms in place to help create a profitable business in a market that requires a smaller local support staff,” said Jon Nobis, CEO of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. “The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand has grown significantly throughout the United States, giving customers a recognizable yet local name to do business with no matter where they move.”
Two of the first states to open mini-market franchises were Montana and Wyoming, and both have hit the ground running with their operations as they work to expand the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand in these states.
Watch the video below to learn about our mini-market franchises in Wyoming and its franchisees, Rob Graham and Justin Woods, to see how the experience has gone for them!

It’s what keeps us going and what has helped develop our reputation in each of the communities we operate, and it’s also what attracts people to our brand – both as customers, and as employees. For Multi-unit Franchisee Grant Hornbuckle, helping people is one of his favorite things, and our reputation for customer service was a major selling point in him purchasing his first franchise. Hard work pays off to those who put in the time, and for Mike Reps, he’s another great example of a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchisee that’s worked their way up to ownership.
Prior to becoming a franchisee, Reps worked for the Rochester, Minn., franchise location as a general manager for almost three years. Things took a big turn for Reps earlier this year when he was officially introduced as a new franchisee for the Rochester location – a process that was extensive, but worth it. Continue reading →
